LOMA collects personal identifying information (such as your name and e-mail address) at several different points on our Web site. For example, LOMA will collect certain information when you enter a contest or sweepstakes, fill out a survey, or complete registration/subscription data for services or sections of our site requiring such information. LOMA also collects billing information, including a credit card number and expiration date, from visitors who pay for or register for LOMA products and services online.

LOMA may track information about the visits to our Web site and compile aggregate statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site, the daily requests we receive for particular files on our Web site, and what countries those requests come from. These aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to our customers and may also be provided to others (such as our banner advertisers). LOMA may use information in the aggregate to create statistics for marketing and promotional purposes. We may also use your information to improve the content of our Web pages, notify you about updates to our Web site, or contact you for marketing purposes. We may also provide contact information in connection with LOMA meetings to organizations that work with LOMA. The use of this information is limited to contact in connection with the LOMA meeting. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications by providing an opportunity to "opt-out" of any contact based on this information.

Like most organizations, we do provide LOMA conference participants with a list of attendees and contact information for conferences they attended.

LOMA may occasionally inform registered users and newsletter subscribers about special deals, new products, and other third-party product and service offers that we believe they will find useful or interesting. LOMA registered users and newsletter subscribers are given the option to choose whether they would like to receive such mailings upon registration. At any time you can request that your information not be used for such purposes by sending an e-mail request to LOMA at webmaster@loma.org, using the header "Opt-out".

LOMA is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. Internally, LOMA restricts access to personally identifiable information to those employees who need the information in order to do their jobs. These employees are committed to our privacy and security policies as a condition of employment. Credit card information is not sold, shared, or rented by LOMA to third parties.

LOMA may share certain personal contact information with third parties solely for the purposes of distribution of information and LOMA materials. However, as part of any order request, LOMA will be required to process your credit information in order to receive payment. This will require the exchange of your credit card information with a third party, such as a bank.

If LOMA plans to use information collected from users in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will directly contact users to obtain written or e-mail consent prior to using their personal information.

This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest and to ensure that only authorized employees of LOMA member companies have access to our Members Only section. We send all new members a welcoming e-mail to verify password and user name. Established members may also receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. At any time you can request that your information, including your Social Security Number not be used for such purposes by sending an e-mail request to LOMA at webmaster@loma.org, using the header "Opt-out".
